WiscoLinks
About:
WiscoLinks,
created by UW student, Mark Yarmarkovich in May 2006, is a website designed specifically for UW students and Madison residents. The site is meant to be used as
your startup homepage to accommodate all of the your internet needs from one site. Since the site is made for the students, much of the site's content is based off student suggestions and comments. The site is constantly being improved and updated to add new features and content.
Navigation:
The left column contains a visual navigation menu of useful school related websites commonly used by students. The central links menu contains many tools commonly used online. The weather is displayed upon opening the website, but the user is able to navigate through the menu taps to view various categories. They are organized into groups (weather, news, sports, reference, listings, market and events), each of which is split into subcategories to make it easy to find what you are looking for. A Google search bar is provided on each page to allow for a quick search when needed. The right column opens up to a list of local delivery menu's. When clicked, the menu's open up in the center of the site, allowing you to view all the menu's without leaving the site. Also located in the right column are lists of pick-up menu's, local services, and a bar listing which features local bar drink specials and menu's. Please explore the site and see which of these links will be useful to you so you can quickly access your internet needs.
To return to the main links page at any time, you can click the WiscoLinks banner at the top of the page or the "Return to Main Links Page" button.
